I have down loaded the dipcage and and rjeloop programs, very nice stuff. Thanks for this. I am trying to decide on a cage loop, In section B of rjeloop, it ask for wire diameter, should I use the estimated cage diameter of 617mm to obtain my desired diameter of 12 inches? (At least as far as the program is concerned...)
my analysis, a 43, b 617, c 15, d 30 (gulf coast) e 15, g 50 (coax) h 2.5(? coax center conductor?) and f of 7mhz. (This pretty clear in the dipole program but not so much in the rjeloop..)
If I read this right, 91.9 percent efficiency...wow...
So I guess my question is really about input B and H.
For what it is worth, I am planning on 4 towers at 39 feet in a square setup, cage loop mounted at elevation of 39/40 foot at each tower, distance is 39 feet center to center on two towers because of the garage support I'm going to use at 16 feet, how ever the other two towers could be moved further away into a rectangle configuration of 39 by up to 60 foot. And, for what started this, the DX blaster sounds good on the air as a broad banded dipole, so my thought was a broad banded cage dipole.
Comments and discussion welcome.
