I need to find plans and parts for a modulator to work with a 1kw 1kv dc power supply for vlf which I plan to run below 5khz most likely, I've had a really hard time getting , well I've had zero responses of any use in 2 weeks of trying different forums.
I'm in DelNorte county Ca.
I have over 2k worth of power supply xformers that I've never been able to put to any use, they were built new by Peter Dahl co in 2005 and never been powered up. I ordered 3 but only need 1... also have 3 heater transformers for merc vapor but don't know if I'd need to use 1 or 2 of them for 2 rectifiers.

I had some plans years ago for all of it, but got lost, and as I recall the plan was terrible since it used only half the power or had some design flaw there.

I am not sure what you want to do or need help with. Are you planning to build an audio frequency amplifier that is similar in design to AM modulator, only that will be used as a 5kHz transmitter, or do you plan to build a modulator that will modulate a 5kHz carrier?
