hello
i am new to this group and would like to build a desktop ferrite loop for dxing beacons in the 160kc-530kc range.need some help ...how do i determine nuber of turns and spacing?how many turns should i make the pickup loop and should the pickup loop be wound over or next to the main coil?also i cant find one good website that details the construction and design of this type loop...they all seem to concentrate on air-core loops.i would appreciate any help or suggestions.
