A second lawsuit has been filed against Microsoft alleging that its Windows Genuine Advantage program (WGA) is spyware and that Windows users are mislead into installing it. This second lawsuit also seeks class action status. It was filed in U.S. District Court in Seattle, Washington.
I strongly recommend that you thoroughly read the agreement that pops before the latest version of WGA installs and be sure you are comfortable with Microsoft continually spying on the software you have installed on your computer, and with them not only using that information themselves, but with them selling information about non-Microsoft programs you have installed to other software firms.
