Hi all
i want to design software radio for the cell phone, i have seen many FM radio built in on most of the cell phones (PDA, Imate, etc) but unable to find programing language used for writing those and details on RF front end provided and how it can be accessed programmatically. if any one knows RF front end details of any cell phone (PDA, imate, etc) then please provide me the detail regarding it's model #, manufacturer and programming language used or SDK used.

That can't be done merely with software. Hardware components also would be required. In most cases there wouldn't be enough physical space available to add what would be needed.
