Hello,

First let me start by telling you more about the radio. I got it about 10 years ago from a friend who bought it at a garage sale, I thought it was pretty neat and used it from time to time. However I do not no much about radios so it was just neat to explore and hear foriegn stations etc. As far as I can tell everything works great except that 1 of the display lights appear to be burned out. All antennaes are in perfect condition, and it has original power cord and manuals. There are some minor nicks at the corners of case but nothing bad or serious. I have had a lot of fun playing around on it, but not being a radio enthusiast, I never really knew what I was doing. I can recieve stations from all over as far as I can tell. There are plug ins on back for external antannaes but I have never tried them. If you have not seen the pictures there are some displayed at (radiobanter.com) in the equipment forums under (Sony CRF-230B).

We'll now on to a price, The main reason for sale is I really don't use it anymore. And I have seen people wanting these vintage radios. So I was seeing what people where interested to pay. I recieved a few e-mails asking 100 to 150 dollars but I think thats a little cheap. I am looking to get 250 to 300. I will be sending this letter to those that replied and hope for the best. I very much thank you for your time and interest and sorry it took so long to reply. Also some people have asked why I don't auction it, but I am not familiar with ebay or those sites. So let me see who replies and I will take best price.

Thanks to all,

Lucas - LukeOR@charter.net

- So far the two highest 2 bids for $325 and $350, I will let
it go at the end of one week to highest bidder, Thanks -
