Hi all, I am in the process of studying for my Technician ticket , predominately for transmitting video/data/audio from my r/c airplanes and am searching for general license holders in the Klamath Falls, Oregon 97601 area to administer my test. I can view a list of license holders thru another site, but was wondering if ANY general ticket holders can administer the test, or if only specific people, times and locations are the way to obtain my license. I am in a somewhat outlying area and it appears that the entire Pacific Northwest and California are together in the FCC guide. I'm hoping not to have to travel outside my area to get certified. Thanks for any help you can provide !

For test sites and times, you can go to
www.arrl.org and find test sites , times and contact person. As to anyone giving the test, only 3 Volenter Examiners of General class or higher can give the test for Tech. Good Luck and 73's.
