Two FCC Agents Impersonated a Police Officer

by Corey » 15 Aug 2008, 03:16

According to a recent story in the Kingsport Times News, last June two FCC agents falsely told Church Hill, Tennessee police that they were with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. The police department drafted arrest warrants for the two FCC agents, but eventually decided not to charge them when the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation asked them to "let the case die." You can see the complete story here Church Hill police won’t charge FCC agents; TBI may take up misuse of police radio investigation.

Government agencies always look after each other. FCC agents who break the law by impersonating police officers should receive the treatment you or I would if we did the same thing.

I agree. This case is disgusting. The FCC agents should be prosecuted.
