An equipment malfunction took the S-Meter site down at approximately 11:30 am Mountain Time Friday, July 27, while I was enjoying the beautiful 69 degree Fahrenheit (20.6 degree Celsius) weather at Lincoln Beach, on the Oregon Coast. It wasn't possible to correct the problem remotely, so service wasn't restored until early Sunday evening when I returned to Utah.
