Hey all

I am trying to listening to the Art Bell smeter station. Windows media will stream what sounds like people talking, however it sounds either very destorted, or very slow, or both. I have the latest version of Windows media... Any ideas anyone?

I think you were hearing SSB (Single Sideband) stations that were transmitting on slightly different frequencies than the receiver is tuned to. SSB stations are received with great distortion unless they are on the exact frequency an SSB receiver is tuned to.
