Is the receiver at 3943

I tried transmitting on this frequency but I didn't hear a hint of any signal from myself. I'm in Berkeley California, so maybe the ham radio waves weren't cooperating. But I would be curious to hear what my signal sounds like.

Pahrump Receiver Frequency

by admin » 09 Jun 2006, 11:25

The Pahrump receiver has been tuned to 3943 kHz recently, but Art Bell can remotely control it from the Philippines and he might have changed the frequency.

To check your signal on the Salt Lake City receiver read this http://www.smeter.net/readme/readme.php and then go to http://www.smeter.net/slc/slc.php. The Salt Lake City receiver happens to be tuned to 3941 kHz as I am typing this, but you can remotely tune it via the web.

Okay give that a shot, tonight or maybe later next week when I get bored and can't raise anyone on 80 meters.
