The front-end of the Icom 75 receiver used by the JimAndLeah On-Line Tuner in Ogden has been "fried" again. Jim reports "there is a common engineering problem w/ Icom radios. The MUTE function is supposed to remove the RF section, but it doesn't completely... and pop it goes eventually."

He has purchased another Icom receiver, but doesn't want it to suffer the same fate, so he is considering changing to a new DXEngineering broadband active antenna with a fast-sense RF protection circuit that is expected to be available in two to three weeks.

Because of this, the Ogden receiver is not currently available.
