Pont-a-Celles Receiver User Overload

by admin » 04 May 2007, 14:19

The new Pont-a-Celles receiver media server is currently overloaded by a large number of website visitors wanting to listen simultaneously. The overload causes user media players to repeatedly disconnect. Additional audio streaming capacity will be added later today.

Hello all,

Thanks Bob for adding my station receiver into this web site.

Sorry for not hearing my audio, because I am testing a another Receiver this day?

Or too many stations were listening to my receiver at that time.

Media Server Changed

by admin » 04 May 2007, 22:45

The Pont-a-Celles receiver audio stream disconnects that have been occurring today were not due to insufficient media streaming capacity as they had appeared to be. I don't know yet what was causing them, but a change to different media server has corrected the problem.

Please try again if you were unable to stay connected earlier today. However, keep the time difference between your location and western Europe in mind. The Pont-a-Celles receiver is currently scanning VHF and UHF repeaters in Belgium and France and there isn't apt to be much traffic on those repeaters during late-night and early-morning hours, their time.
