Art,
I have to say, the receiver is really nice for us who work nights. Put it on 3768 (WAS net), another would be the DX frequency 3800. It would be nice to have some West coast receivers monitoring to hear out there when the band is bad. I have to say, the receivers open up Ham radio to all kinds of people. I've been on HF and worked 75 meters since 1956. We've had some good nets on 3895 years ago but it really got so bad it slowly broke up. You guys have some real interesting topics there and really enjoy monitoring from work.
