The website says Windows Media Player 9 or 10 should be used. Microsoft just released Windows Media Player 11. Is it compatible with the website audio streams? I want to be sure it will work before installing it, because some Microsoft upgrades are difficult or impossible to uninstall.

Windows Media Player 11 plays all audio streams at the S-Meter site fine from IE6, IE7, Firefox 1.5, and Firefox 2.0. However, I suggest that you read this:
