Ham Radio Forums Terms of Service
The Ham Radio Forums are discussion places where you can
exchange information with other users, provide website feedback, discuss
technical issues, and discuss Ham Radio developments.
These Ham Radio Forums Terms of Service
govern your use of the Ham Radio Forums (the "Forums") at the
S-Meter site. These terms are not exhaustive and the S-Meter Site reserves
the right to modify them at any time, effective upon posting modified terms
at this website. By using the Forums, you agree to abide by these Terms
of Service as modified from time to time. Any violation of these terms
may result in a warning or the suspension or termination of your right
to access the Forums.
Registration
You need not register to read messages in open forums. However, registration
and login may be required to read certain forums and are required to post
messages or change most user settings related to any forum. You will be
asked to provide information when you register. The S-Meter Site will
treat registration information received from you in accordance with the
S-Meter Website Privacy Policy and
provisions in this document. Please keep in mind when choosing a login
name that whenever you are logged in your login name and online status
may be displayed to other forum users. Other information about you also
may display such as the dates you joined and the total number of forum
posts you have made. You may not use a login name or email address that
already is being used by someone else, belongs to someone else (without
their consent), impersonates another person or group, violates the
intellectual property rights or other rights of another person or group,
is vulgar or otherwise offensive, or that the S-Meter Site rejects for
any other reason at its sole discretion. You agree that all information
provided in your user profile is accurate, true, current and complete
in consideration of your use of the Forums.
Forum Moderators and Screening
The S-Meter Site does not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, reliability,
completeness, usefulness, non-infringement of intellectual property rights,
or quality of any content at the site, regardless of who originated the
content. You expressly understand and agree that you bear all risks associated
with using or relying on that content. The S-Meter Site will not be liable
or responsible in any way for any content posted, including, but not limited
to, errors or omissions, or loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result
of the use of or reliance on that content. This disclaimer and limitation
on liability is in addition to the disclaimers and limitations contained
in the S-Meter Website Terms of Use.
The S-Meter Site generally does not pre-screen, verify or edit the content
posted by users in the Forums. However, the S-Meter Site, its administrator
and its forum moderators reserve the right to investigate any violation
of the website Terms of Use and these Forum Terms of Service and to take
appropriate action at its sole discretion. The S-Meter Site has absolute
sole discretion to enforce those terms, including, but not limited to warning
users of violations, disabling or suspending message privileges and/or
Forum access, deleting, screening or editing any content, or prohibiting
any behavior that in its sole opinion does not comply with any of its rules
or which in its sole opinion is inappropriate for any other reason.
Content Links
In some cases the S-Meter Site permits users to post forum messages
containing links to content hosted and maintained by third parties where
the links are relevant to a subject of discussion and not provided for
the purpose of increasing the popularity of another site. Although linked
sites are not generally reviewed by Ham Radio Forum moderators, content
you link to must comply with the same rules as content posted directly
in the Ham Radio Forums. You therefore may not include a link in a Forum
that directs users to off-site content or information that, if posted
in the Forum, would constitute a violation of the terms herein.
You access any linked site at your own risk. You therefore should use
your own judgment before you take any link in a Ham Radio Forum. When leaving
the Forums by means a link, you should be aware that S-Meter Site Ham Radio
Forum terms and policies no longer govern and you should review the applicable
terms and policies of the site you are taken to. If you access a linked
site and find content that is in violation of these terms you may report
the link to a Ham Radio Forum moderator. The S-Meter Site makes no claim
or representation regarding, and accepts no responsibility for, the quality,
content, nature or reliability of any site accessible by hyperlink from
the Forums.
Your Forum Conduct

want to make public in your postings. Any personal information you post

are who they claim to be, know what they claim to know, or are affiliated
with whom they claim to be affiliated. You use information they post at
your own risk.
By participating in the Forums, whether by posting forum content or sending
personal messages to other users, you agree that you will not upload, post,
or transmit any content including text, links, communications, software,
data, images, sounds, or other content that: (i) is unlawful, harmful,

affiliates, officers, agents, and employees harmless from any claim, including
reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising
out of content you submit, post, transmit or make available through the
Forums or your use of the Forums, your violation of these terms or the
S-Meter Site Website Terms of Use, or your violation of another's rights.
Release of Information
The S-Meter site may release information pertaining to your use of
the Forums, including posted content, registration information, and network
records, if it believes release is appropriate to comply with law; to
enforce or apply its Terms of Use; to protect S-Meter Site rights or property,
to protect users from fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful use of the Forums;
or if the S-Meter Site reasonably believes that an emergency involving
immediate danger of death or serious physical injury to any person requires
