Ahh! Much better! :)
All I have to do is to cancel out this reactance. An easy task. It looks like a winner to me. I am not too worried about the bandwidth. My main concern is that it's ressonant around 7.1 MHz, so I can go up and down a little bit. 40m SSB DX occurs mainly between 7050 and 7100, at least outside the US.

Great post! I use long times to read this forum with many interest, and thanks py1vhf and skywave for give me many useful information of w8jk. I have many interest in w8jk antenna and I still have some question here:

1. As far as I know,w8jk array users often use two feed way, Stub and Open-wire+tuner, skywave talk about a new method by use 9:1 balun, can you tell me which way will get minimum lost?

2. I had to make an attempt at end-feed w8jk antenna before, in fact I build a small model (50Mhz) and made some test, but it's a failure of an experiment. because I don't sure how antenna impedance of end-feed, I know the end of antenna the voltage will very high, but what impedance status of this situation ?

3. In book of (Antenna), I know w8jk and some variation, it can link more elements for get more gain, like organ's construction. (I don't know how to upload image so explain it by text only), I don't know what impedance status of this variation.

4. At last, py1vhf talk about folded dipoles use for w8jk, and you said feed impedance will four, is 5.39*4=21.56 ohms, but I read some difference calculate formula in John D. Kraus' book, he said when two dipoles or three-line dipoles used in array, the impedance will be a quarter of dipoles, I don't know which is right now.

OK, I am so sorry for my disturb, and ask many question at first discussion, and I am sorry for my poor English. I hope you don't mind. anyway,I'm very happy for read this forum about w8jk and thanks very much about your information.
