Mission Statement
There are many Amateur Radio forums on the web, but most of them focus primarily on Ham Radio news, regulatory changes, contests, DX, and other operational aspects of the hobby. All those things can be announced and discussed here, but the primary focus of these forums is on the technical aspects of Ham Radio. This is a place where those who still like to design and build their own antennas, radios, and other station components can ask questions and exchange opinions and knowledge with others who have similar interests.

Rules and Regulations
Logical debate between parties with differing opinions is a well-established and valuable means of analysis that provides both debaters and observers opportunities to weigh various sides of an issue, so long as all parties maintain polite mutual respect. Where they do not, debates degrade to arguments that tend to do more harm than good. The expected standard of conduct in these Ham Radio forums is significantly higher than at many other Internet forums even though published rules may seem similar. Please read the Ham Radio Forum Rules carefully before posting. You can expect to quickly lose posting rights and possibly even guest access to this site if you fail to observe the posted rules or fail to exhibit polite mutual respect for other members.

Foro Registration
You must join the Ham Radio Forums before you will be able post messages or access some content that is restricted to members. Membership is free of charge. However, membership is a privilege and not a right. That privilege can be lost if you fail to conduct yourself politely in accordance with the rules.
