A movie clip from Mars
A whirlwind inside Mars' Gusev Crater that is increasing in size and blowing across the plain.
A May 25, 2005, movie clip from NASA's
Mars Exploration Rover Spirit

The movie clip above shows dust movement inside the Mars Gusev Crater caused by an afternoon wind gust on May 26, 2005. The movie frames were taken by NASA's Mars Exploration Rover Spirit navigation camera on the rover’s 496th Martian day. The contrast of anything moving from frame-to-frame has been enhanced to make dust movement easier to see.
