Buffalo West of the Salt Lake City
Receiving Site

This June 18, 2005, photo shows two of 600 buffalo (American bison) that roam free on Antelope Island, 20-miles west of the Salt Lake City receiving site. Antelope Island is the largest island in Great Salt Lake. It also is home to elk, deer, coyotes, bobcats, birds, and waterfowl, but strangely, there don't seem to be any antelope!
